Valentine's Day is not a religious holiday in the traditional sense. It is widely celebrated as a day to express love and affection, and its origins are believed to be rooted in both Christian and ancient Roman traditions. The holiday is named after St. Valentine, a Christian martyr, but the modern celebration of Valentine's Day is more secular and commercialized, focusing on romantic love and friendship rather than religious observance. Therefore, while it has religious origins, Valentine's Day is not considered a religious holiday in the same way as Christmas or Easter. **
